Journal ISSN (online version):
Journal ISSN (print version): 1529-3785
Journal Url: http://tocl.acm.org/
Journal Description: For the purposes of TOCL, the field of computational logic consists of all uses of logic in computer science. TOCL welcomes submissions related to all aspects of logic as it pertains to topics in computer science. This area has a great tradition in computer science. Several researchers who earned the ACM Turing award have also contributed to this field, namely Edgar Codd (relational database systems), Stephen Cook (complexity of logical theories), Edsger W. Dijkstra, Robert W. Floyd, Tony Hoare, Amir Pnueli, and Dana Scott (PROGRAM logics, program derivation and verification, PROGRAMMING languages semantics), Robin Milner (interactive theorem proving, concurrency calculi, and functional programming), and John McCarthy (functional programming and logics in AI). Logic continues to play an important role in computer science and has permeated several of its areas, including artificial intelligence, computational complexity, database systems, and programming languages. The Editorial Board of this journal seeks and hopes to attract high-quality submissions in all the above-mentioned areas of computational logic so that TOCL becomes the standard reference in the field. Both theoretical and APPLIED papers are sought. Submissions showing novel use of logic in computer science are especially welcome. The following areas are currently covered by the members of the Editorial Board. They may change as the field evolves. In particular, submissions on the semantic aspects of the mentioned topics are welcome.

Journal Title: Acta Baltico-Slavica
Journal ISSN (online version):
Journal ISSN (print version): 0065-1044
Journal Url: https://ispan.waw.pl/journals/index.php/abs
Journal Description: “Acta Baltico-Slavica” is an interdisciplinary journal, which prints papers from the fields of linguistics, anthropology, historical studies, and cultural studies. In the years 1964–1977, it was published by Białostockie Towarzystwo Naukowe, subsequently, from 1977 to 1992 by Ossolineum, Wrocław. Since 1992, the journal has been published by the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw. “Acta Baltico-Slavica” publishes research on the current and past cultural, linguistic and social phenomena in the Balto-Slavic region. Papers that appear in the journal focus on transnational issues – our main interest rests in comparative studies and investigating universal phenomena, rather than isolated facts from a given nation's history. In the past, many researchers approached these issues from the point of view of their given nations – in “Acta Baltico-Slavica”, we attempt to promote studies which escape this bias. Our mission is to create an interdisciplinary and transcultural scientific terminology, which departs from the ethnocentric perspective. Our journal has received contributions from linguists, historians, anthropologists and cultural experts from all over the world. We are open to novel subjects and topics, non-standard research approaches, as well as discussions and disputes.
