Journal Description: Acta Classica publishes contributions on any aspect of Classical Studies, but also con siders submissions on Patristic and Byzantine themes, especially where they relate to Africa. The Editorial Committee assumes that the submitted contributions are the original work of the author(s). Acta Classica is accreditedby Thomson-Reuters (ISI) and the South African Department of Higher Education and Training. All submiss-ions are judged anonymously by two referees appointed by the Editorial Committee. In cases where the referees recommend changes in the manuscript, authors will be requested to make such adjust-ments as are deemed necessary by the Editorial Committee. Articles should normally not exceed words. Acta Classica also publishes Notes and Discussions on a specific topic or problem which should ideally not exceed 500 words. The journal publishes reviews of books, mainly by Southern African authors. Authors will receive a PDF version of their contributions.

Journal Description: African Invertebrates is an international peer-reviewed e-journal that covers the taxonomy, systematics, biogeography, biology, ecology, conservation and palaeontology of Afrotropical invertebrates, whether terrestrial, freshwater or marine, published by the Council of the KwaZulu-Natal Museum. A printed version of the journal is produced twice a year. All contributions are published in English (British Standard), with an option to add an abstract in any other language that uses Latin or Cyrillic alphabet. It is understood that manuscripts submitted to African Invertebrates have not been offered to any other journal for prior or simultaneous publication. The length of manuscripts generally should not exceed 70 printed pages. Exceptions, as in the case of monographic revisions, can be negotiated in advance with the Editor-in-Chief. Authors, particularly those with institutional support, are expected to cover costs associated with the production of articles. When preparing manuscripts, authors are encouraged to make use of extensive holdings of the KwaZulu-Natal Museum and other South African museums and collections, and to deposit holotypes (paratypes) and voucher specimens in recognised South African institutions.

Journal Description: The African Journal of Range & Forage Science (previously known as Proceedings of the Grassland Society of Southern Africa and Journal of the Grassland Society of Southern Africa) is the leading rangeland and pastoral journal in Africa, and serves as an important reference for anyone interested in the management and sustainable utilisation of natural and agricultural resources. The journal is dedicated to promoting the understanding of processes that affect forage production of rangelands and pastures in Africa. Contributions reporting on research not done in Africa, but that are applicable in Africa, are welcome. Peer-reviewed research papers and research notes deal primarily with aspects of rangeland and pasture ecology and management, including the ecophysiology and biogeochemistry of rangelands and pastures, terrestrial plant-herbivore interactions (both domestic and wild), rangeland assessment and monitoring, rangeland and pasture management, rangeland rehabilitation, agroforestry/silvopastoral systems, mixed rangeland–cropping systems and the human aspects of rangelands. The journal publishes relevant book reviews and invited perspectives that contribute to the development of range and forage science in Africa. Letters to the editor that debate issues raised in the journal are acceptable. Publication of the journal is supported by the Grassland Society of Southern Africa.
